Startup Incubator Survey Spring 2017
Please read this first....
As your final exam, you are asked to complete a survey regarding your experiences in the Startup Incubator.
Our team of tech instructors has been excited to offer you the unique opportunity to learn in the Incubator. We have tried to create hands-on experiences that give you an overview of many ways you can work in the Incubator and create amazing products. This semester has introduced you to the fundamentals -- in future semesters, we hope you build on what you have learned to grow in new, exciting ways that are of special interest to you.
Additionally, we have tried to make this a different experience from traditional courses in school:
Please note that there are two pages in this survey: one short page of basic identifying information, and one longer page of questions. Note that you must also complete the comments boxes to reflect on your experiences in the course. (Do not leave the comments boxes blank, or write, "I don't know.") We will use your feedback to continue improving the course experience for future students.

Additionally, we have tried to make this a different experience from traditional courses in school:
- We have tried to encourage collaboration with peers.
- We've tried to reduce lectures as compared with other courses, using lecture only when required to convey complex new ideas.
- We have tried to create a course with almost no homework.
- We have used blogs and participation/productivity ratings -- not tests -- to evaluate you, so that you could reflect on your work and show examples using images and photos. We also encouraged you to use your phone to take photos so you could document your work.
